An incident are often logged and raised when the actual results do not match expected results and hence highlighting a software fault or indicating that the testing was not performed correctly. A template of an incident management log consist of: -The component id - Expected and actual results -Steps to reproduce fault -Possible remedy to fault. -Severity of the fault -Priority implementing fix -Date / time fault found -Name(s) of Test Analyst |
